General Manager Doug Gilmour is please to announce that the Hockey Club has signed 18 year old Slater Doggett to a contract. Doggett, a 1994 born forward, was a 12th round selection, 222nd overall in this past 2012 OHL Priority Selection. Last season he played for the Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, scoring 17 goals and 32 points in 47 games.

“We were looking at inviting him to training camp as a free agent,” said General Manager Doug Gilmour. “However, another OHL added him to the draft list, and we had to take him,” he added. “We are excited to have him signed and on board for the upcoming season”.
