Despite their hot play of late the Kingston Frontenacs fell to the Ottawa 67's by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday evening. This game marked an evening of celebration as it was Military Appreciation Night. The Frontenacs donated $2 from each ticket sold from the game to the Military Resource Centre. Opening the scoring in the first period for Ottawa was forward Tye McGinn who scored his second goal of the season. Assisting on McGinn's goal were Thomas Nesbitt and Cody Lindsay. The 67's would add one more goal before the end of the period as impressive rookie Michael Latta scored his 14th goal of the season. Logan Couture and Adam Zamec added the helpers on Latta's marker. This gave Ottawa the 2-0 lead as they headed into the dressing room for the 1st intermission. Kingston quickly responded in the second frame as Jesse Brown scored his 15th of the season from Stephane Chabot at 1:19. The rest of the night was relatively quiet as both teams traded chances but neither team was able to find the back of the net. Final shots on goal were 43 to 32 in favor of Kingston. Obtaining three 3 star honors were: 3 - Jesse Brown, 2 - Mavric Parks, 1 - Adam Courchaine.
