The Kingston Frontenacs ended their pre-season with a wild 8-7 loss to the Ottawa 67's in Brockville, Ontario. The 67's held a 3-2 lead heading into the third period and remarkably both teams combined for ten goals in the final period.
The Fronts got the early start in the third period jumping out to a 5-4 lead, but Ottawa got things rolling and thanks to a power play goal opened up an 8-5 lead. Kingston would not go down without a fight scoring a pair of late goals and nearly tied the game with the goalie on the bench for the extra attacker.
The Fronts have definitely showed their ability to score this preseason and have played three highly entertaining contests and are now ready to kick things off for real this Friday night when they host the Barrie Colts at the K-Rock Centre.
