Fanatics Sports Lounge was the sight of the first OHL Priority Selection party on Saturday April 7th, and the event was an overwhelming success. The doors opened at 8:00, but FAN-atics of the Club were lined up outside even before then.

"I was told that by the manager that when he arrived at 6:45 there were 6 fans waiting outside. Wow!" said Jeff Stilwell, Director of Marketing and Communication for the Club.

By 8:30 there were 75 people in the restaurant and at the start of the draft at 9:10 it was packed with over 120 fans!

"This was a great opportunity for our organisation to engage the fans," said Director of Ticket Sales Jared Ginsburg.

Three separate events drew the faithful that morning; enjoying the opportunity to watch the draft on the big screen tv's, meeting the Frontenacs first round selection and the unveiling of the brand new team sweaters for the 2012-13 season.

Sporting the new look as they were introduced to the 120 people who packed the draft party, where first round draft selections Roland McKeown and Sam Bennett.

Shouting "Go Fronts Go" and welcomed to a standing ovation, McKeown and Bennett were quickly surrounded by fans wanting to meet and get autographs from the newest Fronts, along with getting a close up look of the new uniforms.

"The Circle K has been put into retirement," said Jeff Stilwell, Director of Marketing and Communication for the Club. "These will be the new home and away sweaters."

"All in all, with a couple of minor hiccups, it went outstanding," added Stilwell.
