St. Thomas More School Visit

Frontenacs defenceman Peter Stevens made another stop on his elementary school tour as he visited St. Thomas More Catholic School on Wednesday, January 30th. Peter read the book “Farm Team” to the children and then each student had the chance to present him with a question. Later on during the visit, Peter signed autographs for each student in the classes. The school took the initiative of Peter’s visit by deeming it ‘Hockey Jersey’ day and many of the students wore their hockey sweaters to show their school spirit.

A great day was had by everyone and the kids will have many memories from Peter’s visit. St. Thomas More students will be visiting the Frontenacs game this Friday, February 1st against the Oshawa Generals. A percentage of each ticket the school sells is donated back to them to help with the purchase of books and other school supplies.
