Frontenacs visit St. Thomas More School

The Kingston Frontenacs visited St. Thomas More Elementary School on Wednesday, December 12th. Frontenacs goaltender Jason Guy and defenceman Ben Shutron were on hand to present the positive message of friendship, respect, opportunities, niceness, and teamwork. The players presented the message and then accepted some questions and answers from the students as well. At the conclusion of the assembly, the players signed many autographs for the children in attendance.

Lisa Bickerstaffe, a teacher at the school, commented on the event by saying, “thanks again for coming in to present to the students. They left excited with a positive message.”

This will be the last school visit prior to the holiday season. The players will be at home with their families during this time. The FRONTS @ School program will begin once again in the New Year. The month of January marks literacy month and the Frontenacs will be heavily involved in reading to the students during this time. Dates are beginning to be filled in the New Year, so if you would like the Frontenacs to visit your school please contact Jordan at: jordan@kingstonfrontenacs.com
