Objective
The purpose of this program is to promote post-secondary education by providing scholarship opportunities for students currently playing amateur hockey in Ontario. Scholarships are funded by the RBC Foundation.
Number of Awards
Up to eighteen (18) entrance scholarships are available, to be awarded each year. Two (2) scholarships will be allocated per participating team:

Each scholarship will provide $1,000 per year for the first three years of an academic program, and $2,000 for the fourth year (should a program of study continue beyond three years). Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the University or College attended by the recipient.
NOTE: If a scholarship recipient is accepted into the first year of their first professional degree program (such as law, medicine, education, etc.,) while receiving the RBC Amateur Hockey Scholarship they may, at the sole discretion of RBC, qualify for the final year(s) of the scholarship funds to be applied towards that professional degree program.
