Fronts Perfect Weekend

The Kingston Frontenacs completed their perfect weekend on Sunday afternoon with a 4-3 overtime win over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. Kingston forward Josh Brittain opened the scoring 14:11 into the first period tallying his 25th goal of the season. The powerplay marker was assisted by Matt Kang and Andris Dzerins. The first period ended with the Frontenacs leading 1-0. Mississauga scored back to back goals in the second frame to give them a 2-1 lead. The scored remained that way until midway through the third frame when Justin Wallingford slapped a hard shot behind goaltender Chris Carrozzi to tie the game. Both teams then traded goals before Wallingford blasted a slapshot into the back of the net. The powerplay marker was assisted by Taylor Doherty and Josh Brittain. Kingston capitalized on the powerplay for the afternoon going 4/5. Final shots on goal were 40-34 in favor of Mississauga.
